I LOVE Lunar series and Im very happy for play this one again! But the controls could be better. Yet, the game crash on the ship to Meribia, please fix this!! Now I want Eternal Blue for iOS!

Playing on an iPad 3. Brilliant game that doesnt ever age - if it wasnt for this port, anyway. Clunky, unapproachable controls. Unreliable pathing with tap controls. This is especially bad with fast-paced navigation. Portrait mode adds an awkward, unfitting texture to the controls (why do ports repeatedly mix original graphics with vector-looking interfaces? It doesnt feel right). Terrible, unfitting choice of font that severely cuts into the gameplay experience, is even more difficult to read in landscape mode and damages the battle interface. Lunar heavily relies on its strong dialogue, so this is particularly bitter. Interface overlays clearly werent thought through, as prompts will block the view to the respective values, i.e. when healing out of combat. RPG interfaces tend to truly shine, Im unsure why this was butchered to the extent it happened. This game could lend itself so well to mobile gaming... shame it just crashed on me in the middle of a large dungeon. Certain events will trigger crashes repeatedly, Ive found rotating the tablet to help to get past that. I love this game to bits but this port really doesnt shine. Update: In response to the newest patch, landscape loading from the main menu still makes the game crash, virtual joystick controls are still somewhat clunky, especially if you find yourself trying to navigate around monsters, staircases and such. I appreciate the Japanese audio, only wish they came with subtitles. Back to the US voice acting where everyone is downright hyper.

Why havent you put Pixel Typography styles in this game. These High Res Letters make this game look undesired ugly. The graphics and gameplay are awesome.

The game itself is great but the port on Ios is a desaster. Very clunky controls and the game random crash nonstop. Cant even play 5 min on my ipad air with latest ios without crash! Its a bad joke for this price! I contact the support about this problem but they dont even answer my email... I want my money back!

Honestly, I am so happy this game was brought out, this was my favorite video game growing up, probably one of the best storylines for an rpg ever created, all I can say is bring out Eternal Blue already!

This was my first RPG when it came out on playstation so naturally I had to get it. I prefer the PS voice acting and script but other than that its the perfect antidote for my insatiable itch to replay this game (theres no way Im digging my playstation out, its too far into the storage abyss). I am waiting with baited breath for Eternal Blue; I never actually beat it and Id love to take another crack at it!

Wanted to badly to play it when it came out on Sega CD, loved it when it finally came out on playstation. Any old school JRPG fans gotta have this one.

They need to go and play FF4 for iPad to see how to do a control scheme and interface right! Still a solid game but the controls are a constant annoyance

Love this game, totally worth the 7$ in my opinion. People should know more about the Lunar games available, great experience you wont regret.

This game has always been my favorite game of all time. Its kinda disappointing that the voices and songs have changed. I was looking forward to one nostalgia trip. I hope there will be a feature to do that in the future.

Straight up awesome game for all you older gamers, ps1 classic controls are good and story is untouched
