Only 10 mins in but no problems. Colors are bright and graphics seem polished. Love this game, happy to see a touch version for my iPhone!

Now please remake Eternal Blue.

Best game ever! My first App Store purchase was VAY way back in 2008... So glad the rumors were true about this company publishing lunar also! Hope to see lunar 2!! That was my favorite game of all time! BRING LUNAR 2 ETERNAL BLUE! PLEASE!!!

Update: everything below is true but the glitches are bad. I lost a good save after the game crashed so now I save twice switching between the two just so if it happens again I wont have to run through the same areas over again. Yanked one star for that... Bought this to past time but ended up playing until my battery was dead the first day. Great jrpg. You need to save often since the game has random crashes. Its not a constant thing in my experience but it happens enough to were I save after lv ups and clearing areas. My current OS is 8.4

Heres the deal: Lunar was the first RPG I ever fell in love with. I played it for Playstation, GBA, PSP, and now iPhone. The story, characters, music and charm is timeless. So you can imagine my sheer horror when the game crashed and deleted my save file ten hours into the game. As a diehard Lunar fan who loves to relive my childhood every few years, I nearly broke down and cried. An app update needs to be released to address the crashing issue. This is likely not a game people with no exposure to the original will buy. Its pure nostalgia value, so please, cater to the fans! I promise Ill start a new game next year. Ill always have Lunar in my heart of hearts. Ill always come back to fight you, Magic Emperor. Forever a Dragonmaster.

I cant believe this has a single review over 1 star!!! This is a wonderful classic but the translation to iOS is pathetic. Controls are retarded and several of the cutscenes are just a black screen with only the audio. Crashes every 5 minutes, bugs, a real mess. Save your money or get this great game on another platform.

If I could count how many times Ive lost progress to this app closing itself, you would be amazed. Please fix this obnoxious glitch. Its impossible to actually play through the game because it keeps closing in the middle of the menu, combat or any other random time. Please fix it!!!

Please fix the crashing bug! Its says its fixed but its not. I cannot play this game if it will crash every few minutes.

...Okay to clarify people saying there are glitches arent getting used to the controls which are touchy being touch screen ..obviously and some other aspects which you will get used to right away... Im running on the latest iOS on iPhone 6 so cant say for older phones or memory differences etc..But on to the review, Very awesome port ... I remember playing this game when I was 14 years old on my PSX ... Brings back memories of sitting in my room after school eating junk food and being glued to the game for hours lol. I did purchase the PSP version/remake of this game when it came out and wasnt that impressed ... Maybe because Im stuck on the original and original voices and animation and everything ... But this is well done for sure!! Got me FF7 before I downloaded this and Ive been glued to this one since ... Dont get me wrong I love FF too but Lunar ... Now they just need to port Eternal Blue ;)~ c

I love that we have the option to use low res, like the original game, or high res, like the PC version! The music quality is top notch. Everything works good, though if i still dare ask, why not have a virtual dpad in landscape mode? I never understood why not. Thank you GameArts, GungHo, SoMoGa!!

Ive played this game since Sega CD. The PSX port was nice, and so is this having it at the touch of my fingertips. While I wish it was the original from the early 90s, I will settle for this. Bring on Lunar 2 as well.

reminded me of the good old days. Im glad all these classic turn based rpgs are making there way here. Would have given 4 stars if I didnt love this game so much as a kid only because the touch to move thing is annoying. I would have rather just had the simulated joystick. You get into battles on accident because you tap the screen and canceling the movement isnt easy. Overall. More than worth $7.

Game crashes frequently, especially when opening up main menu. After 10 hrs of gameplay and several crashes, my save file was said to be "missing" and all of my progress gone. Skip this port and spend the money on the ps1/psp version.
